Gerald Scarfe!

Gerald Scarfe [the master behind the art for Pink Floyd's The Wall, and the Rolling Stone's lips n' tongue logo, amoung other things] will be publishing another book of his fantastic stuff.  If you've never seen it, you're missing out!  My first introduction to him was through the satirical cartoons he did for the BBC show 'Yes, Minister"  HE had a field day with Margaret Thatcher and Ronnie, for he is also a great political satirist and cartoonist, unafraid and unapologetic.
The similarities of style to Ralph Steadman and Francis Bacon are great.  They all like meat, just like I do!

I'm obviously on a different tack.

BTW, this drawing was made five years ago, but I really love something about it.
I haven't drawn this week.  Too many gigs downtown, and four irritating chairs to upholster.
